The Town of Cedar Lake Water Department will be conducting flow testing this evening. Areas may experience water discoloration and pressure fluctuations. The discoloration is iron being stirred up in the pipes and does not pose a health risk. The water department suggests running cold water until clear, but not until after 7:00 pm. The East side Municipal water customers may be experiencing pressure fluctuations and discolored water. This is due to the need to draw water for a structure fire.
