Urgent Dredge Update
The pipe crossings did not go in today as planned after multiple attempts by Dredge America. It was too windy today creating dangerous conditions to work. Dredge America will be starting first thing in the morning tomorrow to try again and get the southern and middle crossings installed. They were however able to get the southern portion of the pipe anchored down in the lake.
There will be no place to cross the dredge pipe in the lake continuing from now (Wednesday May 24th) until later tomorrow evening (Thursday May 25th) from the booster pump in the middle of the lake to Pine Crest Marina. Please let the boating public know to continue to avoid the southern portions of the lake if possible, proceed with caution and with no wake near Dredge America activities.
Dredge America hopes to have both crossings in by the end of the day tomorrow and accept delivery of the dredge and other equipment.
