Robins Nest Water System Upgrades

The Robins Nest water system, in compliance with the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM), will undergo needed, approved, and permitted upgrades next week, beginning Monday 03-03-2025. These upgrades require the pump house to be put on bypass. During the bypass, we cannot properly regulate chemical treatment. Therefore, we are issuing a precautionary boil advisory (Click here to learn more about what to do for an advisory).

The upgrades to the Robins Nest water system are taking longer than anticipated. The boil advisory will remain in effect until further notice. The current anticipated completion is Tuesday, March 11th. Lower pressures, fluctuating pressures, discoloration, and “well water” smells are a continued expectation until project completion.

The affected areas include the following neighborhoods: Robins Nest, Lakeside, and Krystal Oaks. Other affected users include Luke’s gas station, Franciscan on 133rd Ave, Faith Church, and MacArthur School.
