Have you ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes?  We're opening our basement and 2nd floor for special tour of our archival/storage rooms.  Purchase admission on our website $5 per member/$10 non-member; limit of 12 people.  Individuals should be able to climb a flight of stairs and walk without assistance.

77th Anniversary Cedar Lake Fireman's Ball Festival & Outdoor Concert sponsored by the Cedar Lake Firefighter's Association with all proceeds going to the Cedar Lake Fire Department.  Gates open at 5 pm.  Cost is $20/person.  Cash raffles and food & beverages available.  Must be 21 to attend.

The Cedar Lake American Legion Post 261 and the Town of Cedar Lake Police and Fire Departments will present "Touch A Truck", a community event on Saturday August 17 from 10 am to 4 pm.  This is a family friendly event and open to the public.  Refreshments will be served.  Stop in and see equipment used...
