Purdue Extension will teach this class hosted by the Cedar Lake Parks and Recreation Department. Learn how to compost kitchen scraps, help your garden, help the environment, and other benefits of composting.

Learn the basics about Beekeeping. A PowerPoint presentation will teach about honeybees, pollination and beekeeping. You will get to see beekeeping equipment and products of the hive. Children aged 5 and up are invited to paint and create! Sign-ups must be made one week prior to class.

Get some exercise and have fun! Three age brackets: 4-5; 6-7; and 8-11. Practices will be on Monday, Tuesday or Thursday night once a week, with games on Saturdays. Practices will begin on April 10th and games will be on Saturdays April 29th through June 10th.
