Welcome to Cedar Lake, Indiana!
Thank you for visiting the Town of Cedar Lake! Our town namesake is a 794-acre lake that residents and visitors enjoy both from the shore and in the water. The public access point to Cedar Lake is at the Chamber of Commerce building at Lake Shore Dr. and Cline on the lake’s north end.
The Town complex is located on the corner of Morse Ave and Constitution Avenue and is where you will find the Town Hall, which is home to the Clerk-Treasurer’s office, Planning, Building, and Zoning Department, the Office of the Town Manager, Park Department, and Police Department. The complex contains 18 acres of parks and open space, including over 6,000 feet of lakeshore with picnic tables and gazebos to spend a relaxing day outdoors with your family. The Complex is home to the annual SummerFest. In addition to the festival and the bountiful open space, the Lake of the Red Cedars Museum, a restored resort hotel with a rich history, is located on this property.
