Navigating the Town’s main phone line & prompt selections…
We understand that there is some confusion when trying to get in touch with a particular department so we’ll try to walk you through the most frequently mixed up scenarios.
2. Town Hall 3. Police Department 4. Fire Department 5. Public Works
From the first set of options: if you seek assistance with your utilities account/have billing inquiries, require information from or services by the Building Department, or ambulance billing, you’ll want to select option number 2 for Town Hall.
All of the options available to you upon selecting option number 2 for Town Hall are as follows:

Again, if you seek assistance with your utilities account or have billing inquiries, you will select option number 2 for Utilities.
If you seek information regarding building permits/permit information, require plumbing, electrical… inspections, you’ll want to select option number 3 for the Building Department.
From the first set of options: if you seek assistance with or information about any of the Public Works services (including but not limited to) such as the waste collections offered on sight (large item disposal, yard waste, tire and metal recycling, electronic recycling), branch or leaf pickups, minor road repairs (pothole filling), sewer/water inspections or if you have questions regarding your actual, physical water, you’ll want to select option number 5 for Public Works.
